Before becoming a counsellor I was a nurse for years. I know how to build connections with people and support them through painful experiences. There are events in life which need to be recovered from and I use my skills in creating a warm and welcoming, comfortable space in which my clients can do that. My clients and I often laugh, we've sat sprawled on the floor, we've sung... I want my clients to feel able to let it all hang out whatever way feels right for them in that moment. You'll lead the session but I'll be there with my perspective and expertise to help make sense of what comes up and to learn and adapt with it.
