Hi there and welcome to Jenny Blain Counselling. I am a fully qualified and experienced counsellor & clinical supervisor based in Canterbury. The core of my counselling practise is humanistic but I work in an integrative way, drawing from many different counselling theories to meet my clients' needs. I have experience working in educational settings such as colleges and special educational needs schools as well as in private practise. My clients are teenagers, young adults, adults and couples.

I offer counselling for a variety of issues such as anxiety, depression, anger management, relationship issues, bereavement, abuse, addiction and trauma just to mention a few. My counselling practise provides a specialised service for young people and individuals with Autism and/or ADHD. I also offer Couples counselling.
We generally start by agreeing on a suitable day and time to meet for a first session. This is an opportunity for you to ask me questions and explain why you have come to counselling. During this session I do a brief well-being assessment and tell you what you can expect. It's important that you feel that I am the right counsellor for you.
