Hello, I'm Jen, an experienced and qualified Counsellor and Practice Supervisor based in Moray and working face to face to face, online and via telephone. I work integratively, so my approach is responsive to you and what you bring. I have worked extensively with teenagers and young adults as well as adults in transition, for example, during times of change within work, relationships or because of stage of life. When you first contact me we will arrange a free short telephone consultation which will help us to decide if my practice is a good match for your therapeutic goals. Concessionary charges are available.
We will work at your pace to bolster your autonomy allowing you to gain a greater understanding of self and the world you inhabit. My training in the person-centred approach has been enhanced by a trauma-informed approach and knowledge of 'parts' work, somatic work, neurodivergence and relationship issues including supporting survivors of abuse.
Beginning the counselling process is a leap into the unknown and therefore can be a nerve wracking step but with curiosity and courage may come greater contentment.
