I offer compassionate, trauma-informed support for personal growth and healing. I'll support you to not only recognise the ways in which trauma is impacting the ways you relate to yourself and others, but also to uncover new strengths and opportunities for personal growth beyond the challenges you've have faced.
I have often found that understanding people's diagnoses and symptoms as responses to what they have lived through is valuable in helping them shed the self-blame they might carry. Often, people find themselves stuck in cycles of behaviour that no longer serve them, yet feel at a loss for how to make meaningful change.
I draw on a range of evidence-based modalities to help us understand how your current behaviours developed, the purposes they once served, and how they may now be holding you back from reaching your full potential. From there, we’ll work together to identify healthier patterns and break unhelpful cycles, supporting you as you move forward.
I believe that good therapy empowers you to become your own greatest resource. I like to think of it like learning a new language: at first, we’ll practise together, but soon you’ll find yourself speaking it fluently on your own. To start, I offer a 15 minute free phone/video call. Book yours to explore how we can work together to achieve your therapy goals!
