I have over 10 years counselling experience and trained in advanced Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Gestalt Therapy . I offer counselling to adults and young people from a safe secure counselling room in the Eastleigh area. I am a Lecturer in Counselling and an experienced and qualified Supervisor. I am dynamic in my way of working and non-judgemental. If you are looking for help with anxiety, stress, depression, OCD, loss, bereavement, diagnosis, trauma, or other life challenges, counselling can give you the confidential space and support to explore these issues.
I can offer you short and long term therapy tailored to your needs. CBT is recommended by NICE guidelines for common mental health conditions. I will work with you to help focus on the "here and now". I will help with awareness to how past events may have shaped thinking and behaviours, helping you to not only adapt thoughts where necessary but manage them.
You are the expert on you and counselling isn't about being told what you should or shouldn't do, it is a non-judgemental welcoming environment for you to work through decisions, strategies and find ways to live your life in a way that you are happy with.
