I am a qualified Gestalt Counsellor, my approach is to create an environment that feels safe and holding. I will listen attentively, and empathically, offering reflection when needed. I provide counselling for clients from many different backgrounds with a variety of cultural diversities, genders, and sexualities which encompass a spectrum of identities and orientations. I support clients with various challenges who find it difficult to reach their full potential. I work inclusively, humanistically and relationally meaning you and I work together in the here and now acknowledging all parts of what you are bringing.
Currently, I am an Associate Counsellor providing 1:1 counselling and group reflective practice sessions for BGPS, Counselling clients for NHS and a social enterprise organisation called Fat Macys, I run a private practice and will be supporting clients in an LGBT+ organisation through group therapy and 1:1 Counselling
I work experientially and have an understanding, that when there are language barriers, and verbal expression feels challenging, I can provide a space for exploring alternative ways to find expression. When words may become stuck I can incorporate creativity to support the counselling process.
