I can offer you a confidential, private and safe space to explore your feelings and will support you in overcoming issues which feel challenging, and perhaps hopeless. I am very aware that taking this first step can feel daunting so please be assured that we will work at your pace and that I will remain alongside you.
I have worked a great deal with anxiety, panic disorder and intrusive thoughts. Thoughts can trigger powerful emotions which can leave us feeling powerless and isolated, and perhaps no longer trusting in ourselves and our abilities. I have worked extensively in the area of bereavement and loss and I can help you to make sense of what you are experiencing.
A Person-Centred approach underpins my practice, but I also work with CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), Gestalt Therapy and Mindfulness, therefore, the counselling that we embark upon will be tailored to your needs and which we can review together.
