Thanks for looking at my profile. I am a highly experienced counsellor, seeing individuals, couples and teenagers. What makes someone choose a counsellor, because it seems we all pretty much offer the same therapies. Is it the warm photograph to promote ourselves or the letters after our name. I have been in private practice for many years, listening to clients discuss their feelings around depression, anxiety, trauma, addictions, loss and bereavement. Through talking, this has helped clients understand themselves.
Entering counselling can be very nerve racking. I know, as part of my training, to become a counsellor I have had many years of therapy to understand me, and I can honestly say it is one of the best things I've ever done.
