I am a UKCP accredited psychotherapist working with individuals, couples and families. I currently work remotely via telephone or online video call. In my work I have found that people seek therapy for lots of different reasons during different points in their lives – you may be struggling with depression, relationship problems, a recent loss, low self-esteem, feeling anxious or stressed, or processing past hurts and trauma. You may not even know what brings you to therapy, but just have a feeling of being stuck and wanting to feel differently. These are all issues that we might explore together in therapy.
In my work I use an integrative approach, drawing from emotionally focused, person-centred and narrative perspectives. I believe that each person brings with them a different experience and understanding of the world, thus I will tailor our therapeutic conversations to address your individual needs and goals for your life.
As your therapist I hope to partner and collaborate with you, creating a safe, non-judgmental space to make sense of and organize those difficult thoughts and feelings that seem to keep going round and round, keeping you stuck. Together we can examine identities that may no longer be serving you, while exploring a preferred way of being.
