I'm Janine and I am an experienced and fully qualified counsellor. I work with you by building a relationship with you that allows you to share whatever is on your mind. I provide a private and non judgemental space for you to explore the issues that have brought you to Counselling as well as longer term issues that you may need help to process. I have helped people work through a whole range of issues from anxiety and depression, trauma, abuse, gender, sexuality, parenting, loss and family relationships. If you need to talk I'm here to listen.
I have been a counsellor for Heads Together with young clients (14-25) for a number of years and I also counsel in a Primary School with younger children. i am particularly interested in working with young people, family relationships (parenting) and gender identity issues.
I really do believe that the relationship forms the basis of therapeutic success and change. Therefore, I offer 30 minute assessment sessions free of charge for you to see if I'm the right counsellor for you. I take pride in the fact that I build positive relationships with clients.
