Hi, I am Janine and I am an experienced psychotherapist/counsellor who works with adults and young people from my private therapy room at Hooton Business Centre which is on the Cheshire/Wirral border. I offer one to one therapy sessions to clients and couples counselling for couples as well as Critical Incident Stress Debriefing for organisations who's staff members have experienced a critical incident/traumatic event. I work with clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, self harm, suicidal ideation, intrusive thoughts, personality disorders, trauma, relationship issues, low self esteem or bullying issues.
I have over 14 years experience of counselling and 30 years experience of working with adults and young people in education and community settings and I hold an enhanced DBS. I specialise in working with narcissistic abuse due to lived experience in this area. We work at your pace to explore why you have come to therapy and what you want to gain from therapy
I offer a warm, friendly safe space for you to explore your concerns via face to face in my private office at Hooton Business Centre or via telephone or Zoom. I offer daytime, weekend and evening appointments. I use a mixture of different counselling modalities depending on your needs and this is something we will agree at our assessment.
