I am an integrative counsellor with experience of working with adults and teenagers who have had difficulty coping with bereavement, anxiety, stress, depression, low self-esteem, anger management, relationships, eating disorders and other issues. I want to assure my clients that I will be non-judgemental in my approach, honest and trustworthy and that my clients will be treated with respect. I hope my clients can find comfort in sharing their anxieties with me and together a good therapeutic relationship can be developed. I have a person-centred approach in counselling and I am registered with the BACP.
I have supported clients from a range of backgrounds and of various ages to overcome issues including; trauma, abuse, anxiety, depression, bereavement, grief and addiction. I can provide a warm, empathic and confidential space in which my clients feel safe and supported. I hope to build a trusting bond with my clients to enable a therapeutic relationship.
At times like this it finding the strength to look for help can feel like a big step and it is important that your search leads you to someone you can trust. I am a good listener who can provide a safe space to help you feel confident in sharing your problems in a trusting relationship. I look forward in providing the support you need at this time.
