As a Counsellor I work in a client led approach empathically catering towards the clients needs and goals. My approach is Psychodynamic that means I can help clients deal with the unresolved issues of their past to possibly make sense with the present. Life can be confusing and scary at times making one feel stuck and lost, much like being in a storm .I can help clients find their way through the storm so that they can eventually achieve some sort of clarity and begin to cope with the challenges of every day life.
In my 8 years of practice I have gained over 4000 hours of experience with clients from a variety of backgrounds in a culturally sensitive manner, as I am fluent in Hindi, Urdu, Marathi, Gujarathi, Punjabi and English. I have helped clients overcome their issues around self worth, self esteem, work /relationship related Anxiety, Bereavement, PTSD etc.
I know it can feel immensely daunting to pick a Counsellor let alone consider Counselling, as it may seem frightening to even reach out to a Counsellor.
