I am an Integrative Therapist, trained in Humanistic, Cognitive Behavioural and Psychodynamic approaches. I aim to help you understand the impact of your past on your present, the imprint of social and cultural influences, and untangle relational patterns that cause a sense of disconnect. I invite collaborative curiosity as we explore ways to move forward.
My work centres on relationships, intimacy, sexuality, self-image, anxiety, depression and reconfiguring a sense of self after trauma.
My approach is trauma informed, LGBTQ+ and GSRD affirmative. I'm committed to ethical, anti-oppressive and intersectional principles.
A common thread the connects my work is relationships, connection, intimacy, freedom and responsibility. I am interested in working with you as an individual, or couple, with your own stories and own hopes and needs for therapy. Collaboration, safety and transparency is central to our work.
My love for this work comes from a tender acceptance of my own humanness and appreciation for the complexities that come with being a person. Each therapeutic process is deeply personal and I believe the therapeutic space can allow us to reconnect to the truth of who we are - creating change from a place of deeper understanding and compassion.
