Thanks for looking at my profile... I will tell you a little about how I work. I believe that helpful therapy starts from co-creating an authentic relationship. I won't bombard you with jargon or too much detail here, but I feel it's important to say that I strive to offer you a safe, calm and nurturing space where you can just 'be'. Maybe you're not sure what you're feeling or why. You may have lots of narrative, or may not be able to find any accurate words for what you are going through. There's no 'right' way to be in therapy. I offer complete acceptance of whatever you bring. I work with adults and with children over eleven
I am trained in the Person-Centred approach. This values your unique way of experiencing the world and I believe that you have the inner wisdom to know what you really need. Therapy will be a way of helping you to tap into that wisdom. I will be your companion to sit with those uncomfortable or conflicting thoughts and feelings on this journey.
We can have a quick phone chat prior to booking a session if you prefer. I offer the first session at half fee...then you can have the time to think about if it feels right for you to continue. No obligation. I work days and some evenings and also a Saturday morning. All sessions are for 60 mins.
