I am a qualified therapeutic counsellor and psychotherapist and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I welcome clients from all backgrounds and work with clients within a safe and confidential space where you will be supported to express and explore what is troubling you without being judged. Importantly you will be valued and respected for you own capacity to decide on what feels right for you. My previous experience includes, working for the mental health charity Mind, an addiction charity, social work and the NHS.
As an integrative therapist, I draw on a range of theories and modalities, which means I provide a therapeutic experience specific to your individual needs. At the core of my work is the importance of establishing a trusting and genuine therapeutic relationship, and when this foundation is in place, it then becomes possible for significant changes to occur.
Whatever the complications or distress in your life, counselling can provide a platform for deep exploration of unresolved inner conflict, or simply a safe and confidential space to talk through what is worrying you so you may find a more helpful way of understanding yourself and a way of moving forward with your life.
