Are you struggling with anxiety or depression? Unhappy, experiencing relationship problems, feeling alone or held back by trauma or bereavement? Are you seeking counselling for a child or young person? Therapy can be short term, 4-6 sessions and we can work together in a highly focused way, including exploring strategies if you wish to. For some, longer term therapy is preferred. In this we can explore issues in greater depth and you can be supported to make lasting changes in your life. For children, therapy happens in the midst of play and craft activities.
I have been a counsellor/psychotherapist for 20 years, working effectively with many issues, including anxiety, relationship issues and bereavement. I offer open ended counselling with adults, couples, young people and children. For children, therapy happens in the context of play. Sessions are reasonably priced at £55 for individuals, £75 for couples.
My aim is to combine professionalism with compassion. Understanding, warmth, empathy, honesty and respect are foundational to my work. They provide a therapeutic environment in which we work together to build your resilience and find ways forward that enable you to thrive.
