I’m Dr Jaleesa Carr, a HCPC-registered Senior Clinical Psychologist, MSc-qualified Child and Adolescent Therapist, and trauma specialist with extensive experience across health, education, and social care settings. I work with children, young people, adults, and families affected by trauma, including complex PTSD, neurodiversity, child exploitation, and the unique needs of Looked After and Adopted children. Working across the lifespan, I provide compassionate, evidence-based support to help clients feel safe, understood, and empowered to heal, build resilience, and move forward with confidence and hope.
I provide therapy for children, adults, couples, and families, alongside specialist assessments, consultation, and training. I support adults impacted by trauma and PTSD, and parents of neurodiverse children or young people affected by developmental trauma or exploitation, using evidence-based approaches including CBT, ACT, CFT, DBT, and DDP.
