If you are facing challenges in your life or feeling overwhelmed and struggling to find a way through, I would like to help and support you through these difficult times. I have been a counsellor for 18 years, I work in a relational way, drawing on the training and experience that I have gained through the years to support you to find a way forward. My aim is to provide you with a confidential and safe space where you can talk through your problems freely and where we can work through your difficulties together. The therapy can be either short or long-term, I am committed to working in the best way for you.
I have experience in working with an extensive and diverse range of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma and abuse, bereavement and loss. I have worked in different settings including the NHS where I worked with staff members, I also spent many years working in a counselling charity, both have enabled me to develop my knowledge and skills.
My room is a safe and private space where I hope you will feel able to talk freely about your problems and we can work together to enable you to move towards a place of recovery and freedom. I can offer sessions face to face, by telephone or online via Zoom, or a combination of these which can be helpful if you work shifts or are travelling with your work.
