As an intercultural psychoanalytic psychotherapist, I am interested in all aspects of your life - both inner and outer. I think it's important to consider your cultural identity and how that influences your experience of living in a wider society that may not fully embody your beliefs and values. Our engagement with others, from an early age, creates internal templates that determine our perceptions and outlook. In therapy, a safe space is created for you to examine your internal world and the dynamics of your interaction with others.
I am a Muslim revert (since 1993) who embraces intercultural awareness, with experience of living and working abroad in the Middle East for many years. I can provide a safe space for you to explore and develop your cultural and religious identity, with a view towards building a more enjoyable and satisfying life for you and the others you care about.
