Hello, I'm Jade, a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). It takes great courage to ask for help, and I understand that it can feel daunting at first when beginning your counselling journey. My aim is always to provide a warm, supportive and non-judgemental environment in which we can explore together any issues that you may be struggling with and find ways for you to move forward.
I work in a way that focuses on building a trusting relationship with clients, in a safe and confidential space. This enables us to work together to shine a light on whatever may be troubling you, helping you to understand these issues more clearly and identify any changes that you would like to make.
As a Humanistic counsellor, I believe it is important to support you in developing self-awareness, particularly around thoughts, feelings and behaviours in your life, and the patterns that we can sometimes find ourselves stuck in. Developing awareness in this way can help you to really understand the root causes of any difficulties you may be experiencing.
