Asking for help can be very daunting: sometimes it’s hard even to articulate your thoughts, let alone work out how to find someone who might be able to help make sense of it all. I understand this. I’ve been an advocate of ‘talking therapy’ for many years and I know how comforting it can be to share what’s going on in a space that feels safe, supportive and kind. In fact it is my own experience of being a therapist’s client that has led me to the journey I am now on.
I am in the final stages of training for my Level 6 diploma in Humanistic and Integrative Counselling - which simply means that, alongside a strong belief in the restorative power of the human relationship, I have studied a number of therapeutic techniques from which I can draw as we work through what is important to you.
I have over two years of very varied client experience and offer a warm and welcoming approach; I want to make the therapeutic process as accessible as possible and recognise that each individual is unique - there is no 'one size fits all' here. Whether you feel at crisis point or simply want to understand yourself better, I am here to help you.
