Life has a tendency to throw major challenges at us without warning. You may find yourself dealing with a specific life changing circumstance such as a new diagnosis, bereavement, traumatic experiences, relationship difficulties or redundancy to name a few. Sometimes being able to pin point feelings can be a little difficult. You may be experiencing feelings of being stuck and are anxious, depressed or just unsure of how you currently feel about your life or a certain situation.
I use a Humanistic approach, which means I respect and encourage the autonomy of clients within the therapeutic process. I provide an empathic, safe, non-judgmental and confidential space where you can feel respected and comfortable, to open up and feel seen and heard for who you truly are as an individual.
With 17 years experience in the NHS as a nurse. I have alongside my private practice as a Psychotherapist gained understanding of the internal and external pressures people can put on themselves, leading to unhelpful or damaging coping strategies. I would like to support you with any areas of concerns you are experiencing at this time.
