I am dual trained as a consultant clinical psychologist and executive/leadership coach. I work across a broad range of issues, but also currently specialise in working with high achieving/high performing professionals and leaders, who often need more than coaching in the workplace can offer. Common presenting themes include low mood, anxiety, burnout, trauma, perfectionism, stress, and unrelenting standards. I work collaboratively, and am able to draw on my extensive knowledge of a number of psychological models including EMDR, schema, Cognitive behavioural and systemic organisational consultancy.
I have extensive experience (30 years), working as a clinical psychologist in the NHS with working age adults and mentoring leaders, most recently as Chief Psychologist/Consultant leading an award winning NHS Talking Therapies service. I have trained both clinical psychologist, CBT therapists, and adept at adapting the evidence base to your needs.
I have a warm, friendly and 'down to earth' approach and look forward to working to sharing my experience and expert knowledge in the context of a collaborative therapy relationship.
