You're the one everyone relies on, yet inside you're exhausted. You put everyone else's needs before your own, overthink everything and rarely stop long enough to ask yourself what you need. If you're living with stress, anxiety, PTSD or the lasting effects of difficult life experiences, therapy can help you understand why these patterns developed and, more importantly, how they can change. I'm Ivona, an NCPS Accredited Psychotherapeutic Counsellor based in Nottinghamshire, and together we'll help you feel calmer, more confident and more like yourself again.
I work with adults and young people, experiencing trauma, PTSD, anxiety, burnout, grief, relationship difficulties and the effects of emotional or psychological abuse. Together we'll explore not only what's happening now, but where these patterns began, helping you move beyond surviving and towards a life that feels lighter, calmer and more fulfilling.
I don't believe people need fixing. Often the ways we cope today were once ways we survived. My work combines professional training with lived experience of trauma recovery, offering a compassionate, non-judgemental space where you can feel understood, gently challenged when needed, and supported to create lasting change.
