About
Sometimes we need a bit of help to manage the challenges of life and you have taken the first step looking for just that. If you are feeling overwhelmed by anxiety or depression, or you need some support for your child or teenager, counselling can offer a safe place to talk about what is going on. We can work together to help you better understand your feelings, thoughts and behaviour and move towards reaching goals and making positive changes.
I am a qualified in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and work with adults and young people on a range of issues. I have over 20 years experience working with young people as a teacher and also counsel individuals in schools . Creating trusting and positive relationships is at the heart of my practice and the starting point to making changes.
As we are all unique, the approach I take is to tailor sessions to a pace that suits you and find solutions that will make a real difference to your life. Please phone or email for an initial consultation.
