I’m Dr Isobel Gammer (BA, Grad Cert, MSc, DClinPsychol). I am an experienced HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist offering assessment and evidence-based therapeutic support for parents, children, teenagers and families. I trained in the NHS and worked in specialist CAMHS services for over 8 years, alongside my work in a parent-infant charity. I specialise in: child and adolescent mental health (e.g. anxiety, panic, low mood, PTSD); perinatal mental health & parent-infant relationships; autism; family relationship difficulties; the impact of developmental trauma & disrupted attachments (e.g. in foster and adoptive families).
I draw on several therapeutic models & specialist trainings including: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion-Focussed Therapy (CFT), Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP), Narrative Therapy & Systemic theory & practice.
