Do you feel that no-one understands you or the distress you are feeling? Are you anxious, or depressed, or experiencing difficulties with family and/or intimate relationships? Have you experienced loss or bereavement? Did you experience trauma in your past which is affecting your present? Are you or someone you love and/or care for, living with a chronic or terminal illness? Are you stressed at work? Do you feel overwhelmed by something in your life, or just by life itself? You may be feeling completely alone, or ashamed, or powerless. You may feel as though no-one hears you, or can understand what it is like to be you.
I will work collaboratively with you, to see your distress within the context of your life, offering a therapeutic approach best suited to you and your issues. I work with all kinds of distress, including anxiety and depression. I have a special interest in working with loss, bereavement, chronic and terminal illnesses, and family issues.
Therapy is about you, looking at your distress, within the context of your life. I will provide a safe space in which we can explore the issues you want to look at within a respectful, non-judgemental therapeutic relationship.
