I am a HCPC registered Clinical & Forensic Psychologist with over 25 years experience working in NHS and independent healthcare services, universities, and providing expert witness services. I am warm, approachable and flexible in my approach and specialise in comprehensive assessments (includng neurodiversity assessments of Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD), schema therapy and EMDR for PTSD.
I have extensive clinical experience working with a broad range of presentations in adults. I have a special interest in working with the military and veterans. I am able to build rapport with clients and put them at their ease - especially those that may find talking about themselves and their issues / concerns to be difficult.
I take time to conduct a thorough assessment with clients and share this with them to facilitate full understanding of the factors underlying their difficulties. I will offer detailed reports that clients can use as they wish. I work collaboratively with clients in therapy using models and language that are clear to understand.
