Announcement icon During this very challenging time, I offer 1-2-1 sessions online. Please message me if this might be something that could help you
There can be many reasons why, at different times in our life, we may experience feelings of anxiety, depression, or simply not feel like ourselves. Bereavement, trauma, stress and anxiety can cause difficulties in our relationships, jobs and or family life. My aim is to gently explore these feelings with you. Together we can look at what it is that has brought you to therapy and when words are not enough, the arts are there to help you express and communicate what you are feeling.
So how can the arts and art therapy help you? Perhaps a good place to start might be to answer any concerns about needing to be able to draw. Art therapy is not about ability or skill, it's about finding your voice, your way of expressing, particularly at times when words fail us and our feelings are confusing or distressing.
I understand that reaching out for help can be the hardest thing to do. That is why I will take things slowly and be guided by your needs.

Kintsugi & Guided Drawing Workshops

The Kintsugi workshops have been inspired by the Japanese philosophy of Wabi-Sabi, the art of finding beauty in imperfection. Kintsugi is a beautiful example of this. It is a celebration of repair and transformation. I work collaboratively with art therapists and artists to create bespoke workshops. The idea behind the workshops is to draw a parallel between the physical act of repair and the emotional act of repair. The invitation is to bring something that is 'broken' and holds meaning to you The workshops then offer space to repair, re-create or re-imagine what you have chosen to bring.
