As a psychotherapist, I prioritise getting to know the whole person and deeply value the unique relationship that grows within the therapeutic relationship. I have a special interest in compassion focused therapy and have extensive experience in working with families who have experienced separation, divorce, domestic abuse, anxiety related to exam stress or career changes. My practice lends to a combination of trauma informed models, CBT, mindfulness and relaxation techniques which are tailored to the client’s specific needs. I have extensive training in the treatment of sexual abuse, domestic abuse and teenage anxiety.
I offer a safe, confidential space for clients to talk about the aspects of their life that are challenging. Together we explore the patterns of behaviour or choices that create these challenges. There is no pressure on you and we are able to look at what you prioritise for the sessions in a safe and therapeutic way.
Life can be tough and nobody should have to go through tough times alone. I provide clients with a safe space to explore life’s challenges in a non judgemental environment. I genuinely love the work I do and want to help you feel relaxed and comfortable whilst creating a platform for you to feel understood.
