Let's work together to figure out the next steps to feeling better: Seeking help, as you are doing by searching this site, is a brave and important step in satisfying your own needs - in doing this, you are already creating some relief and a pathway towards yourself as you wish to be. You may feel lost or confused as to what comes next, but you have already shown that you can think in new ways and adapt in order to change a situation which isn’t working for you. Our task is to get in touch with feelings that can further open up your awareness, to allow change to happen.

Therapy is not a casual undertaking. It requires a sincere commitment on your part to prioritise yourself and your personal growth. Together, we will identify any blind spots you may have and we will take action by resetting those frames of reference and patterns of behaviour that are holding you back. Combining Psychotherapy, Psychology and Coaching, I practice from an integrated approach, which involves selecting techniques from different therapeutic orientations best suited to a Client's particular problem. I mainly work with Polyvagal theory, the Person-Centred approach, Transactional Analysis, CBT & Psychodynamic theory.

Are you looking for support? I know how impossible it may feel to have someone that could just listen. You may be facing a challenge, or purely feeling stuck in your current circumstances, at that point when you just want to be understood. I will provide a safe and confidential space for you to share and feel heard, helping you see things differently, going at your own pace. Whether it is your general experience or a specific issue, our initial conversation will be the opportunity for both of us to see whether we can work together.

I have a wealth of experience and success in working with many life issues such as anxiety, bereavement, grief, loss, depression, family issues, relationships and trauma. Plus, for many years, I've supported people in the work environment, understanding how tough processes such as redundancy, investigations etc, can be. There are many reasons why people come to me for counselling. Do you feel confused, or overwhelmed, exhausted by worry? Perhaps you feel misunderstood, unheard, or fear telling others? Maybe you know what the issue is but can't see your way through.

Here you are, searching for something that feels right for you. So, to introduce my way of working: as a transpersonal (psychospiritual) psychotherapist, the work of psychotherapy is placed within the immense context, or ultimate reality, of oneness. As you read my words, you may be feeling anxious, depressed, sad, angry, confused, imprisoned, disconnected, numb, lost....or yet something else. However, as you read these words, I suggest you assess your readiness for the spiritual self-development I offer: a courageously self-honest, open-mindedly questioning, process of deepening awakening consciousness.

How does therapy for infidelity work?
A skilled infidelity therapist will provide a safe space for clients to communicate their feelings and concerns. The goal is to be completely honest about what led to the cheating and how it has affected the entire family to prevent it from recurring in the future. The therapist will help the clients work on rebuilding mutual trust and respect and developing better communication and conflict-resolution skills. If the goal is to remain a couple, clients will learn the “danger signs” for their specific relationship, and they will make a renewed commitment to be faithful.
How long does therapy for infidelity take?
Recovery from infidelity can take time, and it can vary from person to person. Generally, a therapist will want to see the clients at least once a week for around six months. Then the sessions can be arranged as needed, depending on the clients’ individual needs. While therapy may end or shift to an as-needed basis, it can take up to two years or more for some clients to fully recover from infidelity.
How does therapy help the partner who was cheated on?
When a client discovers their partner’s infidelity, their trust in the relationship and in the life they had together may be shattered. They often experience mental health symptoms, such as anxiety, depression, grief, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). They don’t always want to stay in the relationship; they may feel ambivalent or may even want to leave. Therapy gives these clients a safe and healthy way to communicate all of their complicated emotions and concerns.
How does therapy help the partner who committed infidelity?
Infidelity often occurs when one or both partners’ emotional needs are not being met in the relationship. Therapy can help this client understand why they cheated and figure out how to address those unmet needs without resorting to infidelity in the future. This can lessen (but not entirely eliminate) the risk of repeated infidelity. Clients who cheat may also feel intense guilt about deceiving their partners, a sentiment that they can work through in therapy.
