Hi I'm Paula, I am a person-centred counsellor with over seven years’ experience working with people across Fife, Scotland and online. I support clients through a wide range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, bereavement, low self-esteem, relationship challenges and life transitions. My core belief, is that we all have the ability to lead a positive and fulfilling life, but sometimes we can lose our way. I believe people already have the capacity within themselves to heal and grow, even when things feel uncertain or overwhelming.
Counselling can be a way of reconnecting with yourself. While therapy does not “fix” you, it can support change, personal growth and greater insight, helping you see your situation from a wider perspective. I work with people from a wide range of backgrounds, identities and cultures. I offer both short-term and longer-term counselling.
My approach is relational and collaborative, with a warm, down to earth style and gentle humour when it feels appropriate. This is a small, supportive grief group offering a gentle space for people living with loss and bereavement. Grief can feel isolating, and this group offers shared understanding, reflection, and connection with others who are also living with loss in their own way. There is no pressure to speak, and you are welcome to attend at your own pace. Sessions are structured but gentle, with time for reflection. The group is facilitated by a person-centred counsellor based in Auchtermuchty, experienced in grief, trauma, and life transitions, including baby loss. Sessions are £10–£15 per session.
