Race, Diversity, Inclusion & Mental Health Issues
A group offering support to mental health practitioners, frontline workers, teachers and other organisations. The focus of the group is on dealing with race and inequalities issues which impact on mental health. The group will have an opportunity to explore issues around unconscious bias and white privilege. The group uses CBT and mindfulness approaches as well as Solution focussed therapy practices. The aim is to support the Group in reflecting on their experiences and identifying coping strategies and solutions which they can implement and then evaluate within the group in safe space.
Supervision on Diversity and Inclusion
Group and/or individual Supervision for professionals. The aim of the supervision is to explore day to day experiences at work and the impact of diversity and inclusion issues. The sessions will enable you to identify the particular challenges you are faced with and identify strategies and solutions to use back in the work place. The group will have an opportunity to explore issues around unconscious bias and white privilege in a safe and supportive environment.
Six Stages Conceptual Framework on Anti-racism.
Introducing the Six Stages Conceptual Framework for Understanding and Dealing with Racism: This Group introduces the basic ideas behind the Conceptual Framework. Offering the right blend of support and challenge for individuals/organisations to understand and challenge racism. The Group will explore and identify some of the beliefs, values and behaviours individuals/organisations engage in their struggle to reformulate their views and challenge their own prejudices. They will also identify where they are in terms of their awareness of understanding and responding to racism. Opportunity to share some of the challenges we face in a safe and secure group environment
