Hello, and welcome! My name is Imogen, and I am a Dramatherapist. I have worked for a long time in communities using art and theatre for self expression. I strive to create a creative, non-judgemental and brave space to express all emotions, experiences and thoughts. If sometimes putting things into words feels difficult then we can use the arts therapies to find a way to express them. I always intend to create a space for my clients where they have freedom to play, feel and express themselves.
As a dramatherapist, I believe in the transformative power of storytelling, role-play, and embodied expression. We might use art, theatre, movement, music, sound, roleplay or story to help us explore different parts of your life. I will be alongside you throughout, supporting you on whatever journey feels right for you.
I work in an integrative way which is person-centered, psychodynamic, creative and above all tailored to you. I also approach parents, care-givers and families with openness and empathy, ensuring I can be alongside you in finding the best way to support you, your child or young person.
