I provide a friendly and professional counselling service where I help you to normalise, understand and manage your experiences. I am experienced in working with a range of presenting issues, including anxiety, depression, stress, trauma and relationship difficulties. One area that I specialise in is autism and other neurodivergent profiles. My sessions are neuro-affirmative and LGBTQ+ friendly. Being autistic and neurodivergent myself means that I can relate to, and have experienced first-hand, some of the opportunities and challenges resulting from being autistic and neurodivergent.
As a gestalt relational counsellor I work with you in the here and now by focusing upon the what and the how of your experience. I do not neglect your past or your future, but instead ask you to consider the impact that your past or future has for you within the present. I am interested in how you perceive your environment and your individual context.
Establishing a connection is important so that you feel able to work with me. I offer a free 20 minute phone consultation to help you decide if I am the 'right' counsellor for you.
