Hi, I’m Humera, an HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist with over sixteen years of post-qualification experience, including my role as a Principal Clinical Psychologist in NHS Scotland's adult mental health services. For the past three years, I’ve also worked in private practice. My extensive experience and adaptable approach allow me to tailor evidence-based psychological therapies, including CBT, solution-focused therapy, schema therapy, EMDR, and mindfulness-based approaches such as ACT and CFT, to meet the unique needs of each client I work with.
I consider the wider social context of people's lives, recognising that mental health challenges often stem from trauma, environmental factors, or societal pressures. My goal is to provide a safe, non-judgemental space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, and work toward their personal goals.
