My practice is non-pathologising, trauma informed, collaborative and creative. I consciously create a containing and non-judgemental space for the people I work with, building trust over time. I believe that safety in the therapeutic relationship is paramount in allowing someone to begin unravelling, processing and embracing all parts of themselves. There is limited space in our world where others can sit alongside us in a meaningful way, so I aim to do this for my clients. I commit to being alongside in the discomfort, complexity and messiness of existence while marking moments of connection and sparks of joy.
The therapy I provide is client-led, meaning we will always work at your pace. I offer creative and embodied tools to help deepen self-expression and understanding, but this will always be tailored to your needs. I use attachment-based theory as a base, consider how trauma impacts the nervous system and I actively seek to decolonise my practice.
I understand how difficult and overwhelming it can be on the journey to find the right therapist. I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation to answer any questions you may have, and would invite you in for an initial assessment session, if you feel you would like to continue.
