I offer a free 20-30 minute consultation prior to a first session to explore how you feel about working together.
I work with people who wish to delve deeper into their experiences and want to uncover patterns which are no longer helping them. I work relationally, meaning I use our relationship as way to explore each clients unique way of being in relationships.
Sometimes we can arrive at rigidly painful beliefs about ourselves and the world we live in. Existential therapy can be a way to disrupt these beliefs and change the way we see the world and ourselves in it.
I specialise in a range of concerns such as trauma, sexual trauma, anxiety, depression, feelings of stuck-ness, suicidal ideation, self-harm, relationship issues, issues related to neurodiversity, issues around psychiatric diagnosis and eating disorders. I am LGBTQIA+ friendly and kink aware. I work ethically and adhere to the UKCP's ethical framework.
The first few sessions will be a chance for you talk, be heard and see if you would like to work with me. I may encourage you empathically to slow down and will ask you to explore aspects of your experiences with curiosity.
