I work as a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist, which includes work with parents, and an Adult Counsellor. I use a range of techniques tailored to individual clients and families. I use deep listening and compassion to support each client to understand themself, their needs and their situation more clearly. From this their own solutions emerge and I support them to implement them. I also have a wide range of evidence-based strategies from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion Focussed Therapy, Mindfulness and neuroscience which I offer to enable clients to manage effectively and make the most of their human experience.
I offer a peaceful oasis with a range of options: talking, art, Sand tray and play. I work closely with parents of younger children, if appropriate, including regular reviews. I work with any presenting issue or condition but have extensive experience of working with anxiety and anger. I have worked extensively with Autism and C.A.M.H.S. clients.
