People come to counselling a for a wide range of issues ranging from trauma, PTSD to making a decision that is proving difficult to navigate or simply needing a space to talk without judgement. You may have a goal in mind and are unsure how to achieve it or are in an unfulfilling relationship and need some guidance. I work pluralistically which means that I tailor therapy to your needs, for example you may like to work creatively or you may like to use traditional talking therapy, if it is within my training remit I am happy to give it a try!
As a pluralistic counsellor I tailor sessions to each client. Many people use traditional talking therapy whereas others like to use creative work such as drawing or writing, if it is within my training remit I am happy to give it a go! I work with a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, gender dysphoria, complex trauma and self harm.
I offer a free 30 minute telephone assessment in the first instance. This is to assess whether I am the right therapist for you as well as a chance for you to ask questions and consider whether you would like to work with me. There is no pressure for you to decide immediately and welcome you taking time to think before booking your first session.
