Life and relationships are not easy to navigate, and if you’re experiencing anxiety and depression, or going through difficult times, things can feel overwhelming. I understand how difficulties cause you to lose your sense of control, your overall wellbeing and even your sense of who you are. These are normal experiences, but if you’re struggling to feel a basic sense of joy about being you, or if your relationships are causing you more pain than pleasure, then it might be time to seek help. It can be difficult to imagine how talking therapy can help, but together we can work towards symptomatic relief and the freedom to be youself.
I am trained as a transactional analyst and my work is informed by the idea that relationships are both the source of our wellbeing and the origin of our problems. I believe we are all doing the best we can in the circumstances we are in, but sometimes difficulties and traumas make life feel unmanageable and can manifest in emotional and physical symptoms.
I offer a reliable, confidential and non-judgemental space in which to explore what is troubling you. I work with individuals, couples and groups. I have worked extensively with individuals and couples on issues relating to early parenthood and fertility.

Groups
Pre and Post-Natal Women's Group
I facilitate an open psychotherapy group for women wanting to explore issues related to pregnancy and motherhood. Group therapy is often very beneficial for women seeking support, self-awareness, and self-acceptance. You will find that a group is challenging, enriching, and a safe environment in which to explore your experience of yourself and of others. You will be asked to abide by a framework of confidentiality and mutual respect. The group runs at Kensington Counselling on Thursday mornings. It is an open group, which means that you can join as soon as there is a place available. Sessions are 90 minutes and cost £35.
