I work with all sorts of different issues and problems - treating each person as a unique individual, whilst also trying to tap in to theory and learning from my work where it will help each of my clients. I really aim to offer non-judgment, listening and understanding, as well as new perspectives and tools to take away. I challenge my clients unhealthy, unkind views of themselves or behaviours, but trust their own innate self-knowledge too. The process can be distressing, but I'll be beside you. With time and patience real understanding of self and others can happen, and help you lead a happier, healthier life.
I'm an integrative therapist, which means i work with different theories and ways of working - but ultimately i work with you and how you feel above everything. I explore attachment with you which influences nearly all our relationships, use Person Centred principles -believing in your own wisdom and knowledge of where you want to be psychologically.
I have life experience in addition to my thorough training, which i believe helps the process. Equally kindness is imperative in my work and life. Non-judgment and a safe space to talk is always my aim.
