Hi, I’m Siobhan the counsellor here at Helping Hands Therapy which was created with you in mind. Every person who is struggling with their mental health, has maybe had a challenging life experience, a bereavement or past trauma that has left them in pain and hurting. Overwhelming feelings happen to us all at some point and they can be extremely hard to cope with especially when left unaddressed. Facing these feelings and seeking therapy can feel like a really big step however it can also be the start of the healing process needed and i would love to walk alongside you on that path.
As an Integrative Counsellor, I draw from different counselling approaches to meet your therapy needs. I have a special interest and a lot of experience in working with bereavement, grief and loss as well as childhood trauma. Other common issues worked with include anxiety, depression, family and relationship issues, low mood, self-harm, stress and many more
