I am a BACP registered psychodynamic counsellor offering support to children and young people. I have experience and have helped people facing difficult issues such as depression, bereavement, low self-esteem, feelings of self-harm, school refusal, anxiety and relationship issues amongst others. I offer a warm, safe, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can come to be listened to and supported in making sense of what is troubling you, so that you can move forward with an increased sense of self-confidence and contentment.
My focus is on building a relationship in which you feel comfortable enough to reflect upon and understand your difficulties. Some children and young people may not have the words to describe their feelings to start with, so I offer play and art materials as a way for younger clients to explore and express their emotions.
I provide a free 15 minute consultation to get an understanding of your situation and explain how I may be able to offer support.
