Hello, I’m Helen, an integrative counsellor with 18 years of experience, I work with all ages and I have particular expertise in working with children and young people. I also provide clinical supervision to professionals. I use my knowledge from different therapeutic theories and approaches to tailor the counselling experience to each individual’s needs. I work collaboratively to identify the issues you wish to explore and the timescale that suits them - whether short-term focused work or longer-term support.
Some of the common issues I work with include, Anxiety and depression, Self-harm and suicidal thoughts, Autism and ADHD symptoms, Stress and family issues, LGBTQ+, Emotional wellbeing. My background in school-based counselling, Universities, EAP's, systemic work with families and inclusion services allows me to bring a holistic understanding to wellbeing.
