My approach is to take a deep interest in your priorities and goals for therapy, what you want to focus on, and why now. I will listen very attentively and try to understand what you want help with. I also listen for what you perhaps don't say or say indirectly. I consider all of this, and your reaction to my input, a vital part of our work together.

Therapy is a collaborative process during which together we look at your feelings and how you deal with them. We will learn a great deal about this very quickly, as we take a look at recent examples in your life and how you process your emotions around these. This is the work of therapy and is the most effective way of helping you to achieve your goals.
