Hello and welcome. I am a qualified counsellor and Registered Member of the BACP. I work with adults and young people (16 plus) in both short term and long term counselling, and offer a warm welcome and calm presence in comfortable surroundings to help put you at ease. I have a private practice in central Winchester and have previously worked as a University Counsellor at the University of Southampton, a Youth Counsellor at Winchester Youth Service, a Bereavement Counsellor at St Michael's Hospice, Basingstoke and with students at Peter Symonds 6th Form College.
It’s not always easy to talk to your partner, family or friends about your thoughts and feelings. You may be worried about the effect that sharing these would have on them - or they themselves may be part of the problem. I offer a safe, non-judgemental, confidential space where you can say how you really feel - and tell the situation as it really is.
In a supportive and compassionate way, I can help you explore what is important to you and what changes you may like to make. Taking the first step in seeking help can be difficult.
