With lived experience of anxiety, I offer therapy that is warm, compassionate and grounded in real understanding, with a particular interest in supporting those affected by Boarding School Syndrome.
I’m a young‑spirited woman in my fifties, and I’ve been working as a therapist for thirteen years — with the last five spent in private practice. As someone who has lived through many years of mental health difficulties myself, including severe anxiety, I understand how overwhelming and isolating it can feel. That lived experience is a big part of why I’m so passionate about helping others work through their own challenges.
My approach is warm, compassionate and gently challenging when it needs to be. I genuinely want therapy to feel like a space that fits you — not a one‑size‑fits‑all process. I understand that everyone is different, so I adapt the way I work depending on what each person needs.
I am passionate about the work I do and offer genuine care and interest alongside my learnt skills and experience. I see clients in a therapy room at the Quayside Wellbeing Clinic, a professional, modern and tranquil space right by the water, where you can talk in confidence. I can also offer sessions via Google Meet. I am enhanced DBS verified.
