About
Hello and welcome to my profile page. My name is Helen and I have a BA (Hons) Degree in Humanistic Counselling and a Diploma in Supervision (DipSup). I have worked as an counsellor for 12 years and assessor for 8 years for a charity supporting Carers in West Sussex. Before that I worked for an organisation, funded by the NHS, that supported families of people with substance misuse. I continue to work for charities but I also have my private practice and supervise other Counsellors. Please contact me to discuss what you want from counselling and fees.
It has been my privilege to work with clients of different ages, cultures and backgrounds who have experienced varying issues, I do not believe counselling should be a one size fits all experience, so I tailor your therapy to suit you.
I have experienced counselling during some difficult times in my life when I didn’t want to ‘burden’ friends and family, so I understand the concerns you may have in looking for a suitable Counsellor. I will work with you in a confidential and non-judgemental space to explore your thoughts and processes.
